About Us

Punchline Poetry Society (PPS).. Is a community of Poets, writers, musicians, editors and content producers seeking to provide applicable, educational and entertaining content to believers and non believers regardless of where they are in their respective life journeys.

Founded by Gideon Yakubu (G.KIng), on 20 August 2016. PPS started as the Poetry Arm of Punchlyne Entertainment. The community is now a home to hundreds of poetry and Art lovers within and outside the city of Jos, Nigeria.

We believe that the Our faith isn’t just for the four walls; our faith informs every issue we face every day of the week. We want to provide content to people who are seeking to determine what purposeful day-to-day living means in their own lives.

To be passionately dedicated to the search for new “epiphanies” of beauty so that through our creative work as artists we may offer these as gifts to the world. Bearing in mind what the notable Polish poet, Cyprian Norwid, wrote that “beauty is to enthuse us for work, and work is to raise us up”.
